Raise Money for UMVIM Mission Projects
Want to help raise money for for the WJ UMVIM program? Here are some great ideas that are simple and involve very little time.

UMVIM Purpose Statement
The purpose of the Oregon-Idaho United Methodist Volunteers (UMVIM) in Mission Program is to facilitate the sharing of the love of Jesus Christ with integrity and faithfulness.

A UMVIM team will offer a learning/serving experience in which the volunteers practice the UMVIM theme of "Christian Love in Action", while respecting the culture, beliefs and traditions of the people hosting the mission team. A commitment to learn and to celebrate cultural differences and to build community and relationships of inclusiveness are crucial to a positive experience for both the Volunteers and those at the host site.

Why Pastors Need to Go on UMVIM Teams
Why being personally involved in mission is so incredibly important for clergy, and what difference it makes to preaching, teaching, membership, worship attendance, tithing, apportionments, and all the nitty-gritty stuff.

Why volunteer?

Volunteer Data Base

About UMVIM
