Speaking Personally
I’m thinking a lot about joy today. It is Monday of Holy Week. I participated in a very moving Palm Sunday/Passion Sunday worship yesterday, leaving the church with tears in my eyes as we remembered how Sunday turns into Friday, on the trek from palms to passion. (read more)

Albany First Brings Dedication and Innovation to Feeding the Hungry
In response to the Council of Bishop's call to work to eliminate hunger in Oregon and Idaho, Albany UMC has adopted a three-fold mission plan. First, we host the Albany Gleaners group, which serves as a weekly clearing house and food bank for over 60 families.
