Throughout the year numerous UMVIM teams from across the country and within our conference are looking for places where they can be of service. Most often the volunteers range in ages from junior high - retired adults. Many of these groups offer a diversity of skills (i.e. construction, repairs, painting, roofing, building play grounds, leading vacation church schools, leadership training, surveys, and leading music and worship services). Often UMVIM teams are turned down for want of a place to be of service, especially along the front range.
Sending and receiving UMVIM teams enables us to experience the joy of sharing fully in mission. Further information and a helpful sheet on how to prepare to receive visiting UMVIM teams are available upon request from Corrine Tate.
