One of the ways that you can support special ministries within the Conference is through Conference Advance Specials. In the same way that the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) administers Advance Specials for projects around the world, so also this Conference administers Advances Specials for projects right in our area. Whenever you give to an Advance, 100% of your gift goes to that project. Administrative and overhead expenses are taken from other channels. Just write a check to your local church and write the name and number of the Conference Advance Special that you would like support in the memo line. Your local treasurer and our conference treasurer will make sure it gets to the right spot.
