The Vision and Mission of Metropolitan District

 
Transformed by the grace of God through Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we intend to "do justice, love kindness and walk humbly with our God." With God's help we envision a connected community with a prophetic, proactive witness sharing the good news of God's love in radically reconciling and transforming ways in our world.

Therefore, we joyfully commit:

•   To develop stronger congregations and disciples/leaders in the churches of our district equipped for evangelization, witness and action, and;

•   To develop the ties of connection and community betweeen our congregations and throughout our parish, the larger metro area, and beyond.
